Kimberling City, MO - Beautiful! - 11/18/2007
My husband and I retired here about four years ago. Our home is only yards from beautiful Table Rock Lake. It was a dramatic change from our live in Southern California - but it was virtually all for the better. We have the change of seasons now, without severe winters or summers. However, the humidity definitely does take some getting used to. The foliage in autumn is breathtaking, and the lush green of spring with the deep blue skies is simply wonderful. Kimberling City is a very small town and the people are lovely. The only thing we really miss from our "previous life" is the proximity and convenience of stores and retaurants. But it's a small price to pay to live in
